Reflect watching a movie

Reflect watching a movie
First Person Sigular/The Museum on the Mountain
Before watching the movie I first choice the movie, only for my homework, but during I was watching I. M. Pei Mandarin of Modernism, and I was touched because the details of one of the most intriguing works of his life to reported by the architect himself. The movie is not only about another museum, but it is also a symbol of pride and history. This is a wonderful movie about Pei and his works and his life, which is truly inspiring and detailed enough to serve as excellent reference for somebody who wants to learn more about Pei, architecture and style.
Pei is an architectural engineer. He never forgets that structural elements go hand in hand with architecture, and the architect must always be aware of the forces in play upon a structure. Pei likes to push the envelope where the two disciplines intersect.
The movie I.M.Pei-First Person Singular/ The Museum on the Mountain recorded that Pei was a talented son of a well-to-do Chinese banker; Pei received the best education his family could arrange and ultimately ended in the States studying architectural engineering because he lacked confidence in his drawing skill. But finally he became a first person singular on architecture.
The magnificent museum was hidden in the hills near Kyoto, Japan, which contains one of the work’s finest collections of Asian and Near eastern antiquities. Many Pei’s photos and his designed significant buildings were in the gallery of the museum.

The Reflect The Art Institute of Chicago web hunt

The Art Institute of Chicago web hunt was a new experience for me. I learned more about the different fields of arts. I have used this website and searched many different styles from the website such as modern art. I learned how to use and count collections that are on the website, and it helped me to discover a lot of different art styles. I viewed Youtube and other things that could show me links about the website, and they were really useful because I was able to view the art in reality as well as a text based source. I thank the teacher for teaching me how to use this website and helping me gather information in order to learn more about art and to complete this assignment. I am also happy that I can shop from this website. My favorite part of the website is the collections because I was able to read about a lot of the art portraits and add them as a collective item. I understand the art of using glass pieces together and coloring them to make very beautiful art windows. I went to Navy Pier and I viewed a new glass creation similar to the one on the video. The art was very outstanding.

Reflection Loop Art Tour

Loop Public Arts
I went to see five places of public art. I chose the artists because they are very famous. My favorite is Cloud Gate which is also called The Bean. It is like a mirror and the tourists can see themselves. So the tourists become part of the art. I took many pictures there. A purpose of the sculpture is to reflect the clouds but on sunny days, people will not be able to see the clouds in Cloud Gate. I went there on a sunny day so I did not get to see clouds. But inside in the center I saw many people looking at the ceiling of Cloud Gate. They could not see clouds but they saw themselves. I learned about the artists and the purpose of their design. The artist of The Bean, Anish Kapoor, is from India but he lives now in England. By chance, I met my friend Steve in the Loop. He is a professor in Roosevelt University. He had lot of knowledge about the arts. He told me a lot about public art in Chicago: which art is more famous and which country the artist is from. I tried to give him some information, but I could not give him much because I don’t understand about it well. I heard an interested story about American Indian people lifestyle from Steve. He told me that the land we were walking on is the land of the Indians because they lived here first. The sculptures of the Indians show them with the motions of using a bow and a pear but they did not have the actual bow and spear in the sculpture. He told me that the Europeans came to Chicago and murdered the Indians to get their land. I also learned that the Indians were originally from Asia. I now know that the horses that the Indians were riding originally came from Mongolia. So I not only learned about art from Steve but I also learned about American history.
